MPS Events is a premiere Full-Service event design and planning company specializing in Asian American weddings, social events, birthday parties and corporate affairs. With a personal approach we combine splendor with elegance to produce unique experiences for our clients and guest to cherish.
Who are we?
MPS Events was created by a Husband & Wife team, Richard & Phyllis Mach in 1994. You guess it.... the company was born shortly after our wedding. I know that is very cliche, but it's true. After graduated from UCLA, my career started in the banking industry. However, my passion with weddings had never gone away. Being a Virgo, planning, organizing, attention to details came naturally. On the other hand, Richard's passion was audio, design & .....partying. We've combined the best in both of us and formed a true "full service" wedding company for our clients. I usually handle all the planning aspects of the event and Richard handles all the technical sides of the business (Audio, lighting, photo booth, decor...). Richard's first language is Cantonese and mine is Mandarin. We have helped hundreds of clients with their tri-lingual needs of their events. Both Richard & I can Emcee and officiate bi-lingual weddings.
How are we different from all the other companies?
MPS Events is my full-time job. It is not a side business or a hobby. I have an office located in Diamond Bar where I meet with couples, listen to your ideas and create your dream wedding. (No, we don't need to meet at a restaurant or a cafe.) We are a unique company which we not only assist you with your planning & budgeting, we also provide DJ, Emcee, Officiant, Lighting, Photo Booth services "In House".
Some vendors in the industry may claim they provide all services. In reality, they sub-contract all their vendors and earn a commission on top of the services. With everything provided in-house, we can better control the quality and most importantly, you have one contact for all services and will receive better pricing when booked together in a package. Win-win situation for all of us.
